I'm not sure, but it seems to me that your image is somewhat outwashed - check if your default lights are on and if not try to contrast your image more.

          hi gitano,

I think your background does not match with the overall lighting of your image.
your light source has the feeling that it's behind some thick clouds.
maybe you should change the light color to a more orangeish color with higher multiplier and sharper shadows.

Throw-down some hard shadows. It looks like it only lit w/ ambience.

It looks like its lit by an area light or something, and im under the impression that its a cloudy, spring afternoon outside. Just put a hard sunlight to put some life and contrast into that picture.

If I can just throw out my opinion I think you should stay away from hard sunlight and shadows, I prefer the softer look like you have. Think about it, do photographers go out in the middle of the afternoon and shoot in hard sunlight? No they wait for interesting conditions preferebly with soft warm light. I would decrease the skylight a little and boost the sun's brightness some so that it's shadows are more evident but only a little. Every major object should cast a noticable shadow but they shouldn't be laser hard or really dark like most renderings. This will give it the contrast it needs while retaining some appealing softness. My 2 cents.

Oh and I love that sky! Has a watercolor artistic feel.

Yes it is a standard sky that comes with max and its very dull and boring. I think there is much more to photography than just soft shadows, if you want to make an artistic image, you'll have to put much more effort in balancing all the colors, contrasts, and most importantly the composition. Anyway, the sky and light dont match, and i think that you need to fix it.

                            Image modified, please help me!

Here i am, i´ve modified my image touching light to an orange tone, adding a higher multiplier and setting the area shadow from 10 to 1 in UVW. It has no sky (the dull an boring sky that i´ve modified it isn´t standard sky from MAX)

                            Thanks to all.

hmm...to me it looks miniature. Like a model. Possibly adding some bump texture to the walls and wood would (snicker) give it a subtle enhancement. Also, what I think everyone who commented on the lighting is meaning is... At different times of the day the sky will look different in contrast to where the shadows are being affected by. In other words, There's almost always a gradual change in the 'blueness' of the sky in reference to where the sun is and where the camera is positioned which in turn will affect how the shadows lay. I'm probably not making much sense and have only confused the matter more
