How do I post threads!!!

Sorry to post this here but it's the only place that I CAN post

How do I activate my account so I can post replys and new threads in places other than the gallery sections!?
Do I have to comment on 20 gallery posts to get access to the rest of the forum or something stupid like this?

I fee like a retard but this isn't documented anywhere I can see and I've been trying to post on these forums for a while now
