Seriously though, looking good - althought I'd worry about my daughter going down that slide as it looks like she'd get a large bump at the end!

Not bad! The main thing that jumps out is that all the background trees seem to have exactly the same leaf color. Perhaps change it up a bit?

That was my plan, but I just got a call from the client and they don't want a background, which makes my job easy. My concern wasn't making one look good, but making 35 different and good. So, now it's just the playset with a matte plane to catch the shadow. They have a backplate that they'll be using.

They'll just be pasting the swing set into a stock backplate. Here's the first one.

somehow the playset looks too evenly lit. Your first color render had much more natural looking lighting.

They wanted the sun behind the camera so it's evenly lit, so I guess I accomplished what they wanted. They have a backplate that they want to use, which has shadows that I need to match. However, I agree, it is too flat.

I'm looking for a way to control the shadow in post. This isn't there backplate, but the shadows are almost the same. I pasted the play set over this photo, but as you can see, the shadows don't match in lightness.

ah, I saw your other post - sounds like it's an issue with controlling the matte shadow. I would guess it would be easy to adjust in PS if you use the alpha layer as a selection to mask out the object shadows so you are only adjusting the matte shadow.

I found out that crunching to 16 bit darkens the shadows. How do you avoid this? I had to merge everything before dropping it down to 16 bit, so I could apply some color corrections. Here is the second one, which turned out good. I told them to get a back plate to match the rendering instead of matching the rendering to the back plate (this is a temporary back plate.ATTACH=CONFIG]21866[/ATTACH]
