Sorry for my nick Natty, i will change it in a near future

Let me show you my render with a bit of PS editing. I was trying to use the settings from deneb26, that means:

    Direct Light m=4, vray shadows
    first bounce m=1.3, irradiance map min/max -2/0 thrsh:0.2/0.2/0.5
    subd 32 int. 32
    secondary m=1, direct comp 1/1.
env. bright blueish color with m=1.3
color mapping: HSV, dark m=0.8 light m=1, no affect bg

I guess the image is ok but it could be a lot better, someone have any suggestions.

Thanks to Psy for his image hosting.

Remove that blurred car on the road. Its too small and wrong perspective.
Tone down the saturation on all plants
Person on footpath is too small and people in shade (@ the right height) are abit too bright.
More reflections on cars. (Do a search for car paint material on forum)
Maybe work on the texture for the road so its not so uniform
I cant see any seagull poo on anything coz there's alot of seagulls. Remove one bunch

Hope it doesnt sound like I'm being too harsh. Take it constructively please.
    Look forward to refined images

and, what everybody thinks about the ilumination setup?, here is a close up

btw, the cars are RPC's, that why they dont have reflections, need to find some good 3d models
      thanks

the sky is composited in . . right?

thats one of the factors that makes the scene look like its sitting on a plane in the middle of no where. skys normally display a gradient from dark blue on top to a light cyan at the horizon.

try using dreamscape for yor skies.

        regards,
        mark

I think you should make the walking guy (infront of the Ford Explorer - red SUV) a bit bigger than he is ..

thanks for comments. Now i fell like the colors look washed out, i guess it could be fixed reducing the multiplier of the direct light. but if i do that the white color will start to look like a bit grey, what should i do in this particular case, increase the receive GI of the white material? but if i do that the shadowed places of the white material will look brighter, im confused
