  • A swimming pool and landscape design

I am slowly getting better but have a LONG way to go. Here are a few recent renders for a client. There are some obvious things that could use fixing (like the backplate) but i am out of time! And these are more than they expect anyway.

I like it, clean and neat somehow. Since the waterfall is such a prominent feature in the second pic you may want to give it another look. Maybe a tad less transparent and less saturated and blurred underneath perhaps ?

Your sun is almost directly above your scene, makes everything look a little flat. Colours of your greens are a bit artificial. Trees lining the garden are scaled up too much.

These are good comments. Thanks. I have been playing around with different ways to render the falling water. From motion blur (in photoshop) to multiply modes, to materials, etc.

Color correction is something i need to work. My colors always seem a little off (too many tones, some warm, some cool). I am trying to use reference photos more. So many of you have emphasized that.

Those trees have a 80-120% scale variation but yes they do look too similar.

Not enough of you people are posting images! C'mon man!
