finally able to get back to this project now. Ok. my biggest problem is not being an architect or an engineer. so ive no idea if a structure like this would ever hold up. i still need to add the supports on the weaiting area side of the airport. and ive no real idea how to get the glass roof on. As you can see its a small airport. just about 5 planes at a time. Bottom floor is for arrivals, mid floor departure and top for restaurants and stores.

and here is another update. hope to have the middle section in glass and the outer section will be more solid, still not sure about the waiting area.
just not sure how to get the solid sections on. but hey, its a constant guessing game for me on this project.

Hi Da_Elf,
Looking very interesting. It's great seeing the image progress in detail. With regards to the architecture, perhaps you can include some tension cables running off some really tall columns, say 25m high, which suspend an arched
roof or something?
If anyone's after extermely good high res models (and isn't afraid to pay for it) you should try the Despona Model Bank. There models are the best I've seen. They've got a whole load of planes fully textured Da_Elf. Unfortunately I can't remember what the website address is.
Can't wait to see this animated. Keep 'em coming Da_Elf.
