Nope, it's not my design... unfortunatly, as many of the people browsing this forum, I'm just doing renderings for architects, eventhough I have an architecture degree...
Anyway, the project is a library/cultural center. the image was made for a competition two monthes ago, and sadly, the competition was won by another architect.

Thank you guys for your nice comments...

Nice work. I agree, the first is great. Are you intentionally doing something with the opacity of the ppl? I like it but maybe even less opaque. The far one laying down looks too large though.

the transparency on the characters is actually on purpose. And now that you say it, this guy is defintely looking too big...

thanks again for your nice comments...

Well, it sure didnt lost because of the renders, theyre superb!!

Excellent job, would you mind sharing your methods? What software you use to model and render?

In the second image i see the right side of the building like "outlined", is this image a mix with NPR?

I'm all for sharing the methods, but I'm not too good at being synthetic about my methods. The questions have to be more specific.
Like the one you ask for instance: this image is a simple rendering of the model with no environnment, and then outlined in photoshop with the help of the alpha channel.
for the rest, I model mostly with max and rhino, then render with vray. I've used lightscape, and then final render, but finally ended up using vray because it is so much easier to setup (at least as long as you don't have a problem..)
