man that sucks. It's like one of those stupid thinks that you never believe is true and then you find out that a morron stole your rendering for no purpose at all.It happens a lot when you're published in a paper mag that the publisher "forgets" the credit, but I didn' know there could be such morons.

      re

I bet you alot of people steal images off of forums like these, print them out and pass them off as theirs in an interview. Especially the folks that have not been doing this for awhile. I sat down with an interviewee once and his work was not consistant at all.
Indecisive archictects will be the death of us all.

I really dont understand.. dont these people know that they will get caught no matter what they do ...funny what shytiger points out.... how embarrasing would it be when youre in some interview and the one accross the table says "yeah we did that rendering.. how come you have our work in your portfolio???" what would you be able to say ??

.... and by the way their web site is still working.. I just went there .... nothing has been done or anything..

Can i suggest to everybody to NAME your picts file with your nick ?

I always add ur nicks in the name of the .jpg when i save it - in order to keep track of who made it...

I know this isn't a way to protect, but its still a simple trick good to take.

                  Don't u think so?

                    That is really sad!

Hope it does'nt stop people posting up images, just keep putting names/logos on them.

Love seeing some of the great work on this news group.

The company I work for has had this happen in an interview situation.

In a silly way we just kind of laughed at the situation and sent him on his way, it was'nt even our best work he pretended was his (still completely unacceptable of course). Could'nt believe the nerve of him. He did feel pretty stupid mind you. Did'nt seem to be much we could do, took us by surprise really.

We didn't tell him straight away mind you, let him bullshit for a while about how he did the job, which made it pretty obvious that the work was'nt his.

Annoying, but what could we do, move on and do some more cool work and have some fun is what we descided. Poking his eye out crossed my mind....... joking!

                              hi,
can anyone recommend me a software for this.
i have tried a standalone watermark software but the result was very "dirty".

what software do you use ?

                              thanks.
