  • Need to archive more realism

    Hi guys, i need tp get a lot more realism for the exterior shots, i've always get this whiteish look, any suggestions?

      if you want better realism you need to use more textures and less blinn shading.

          I would suggest adding irregularities across the image components - f.i. dirt, rust (ok not here maybe, i assume this is a marketing picture), variations of grass and those little things that happen when something is outside for quite a while (i can't name it) - waternoses ? The walls should be textured with a layer of varying noise in a large scale maybe, and add some 'life' into the house - furniture and curtains.

                reflections on your windows would help to. More foliage in your background would help. It looks like it's an oasis in the middle of nowhere.

                    It seems to have too low contrast. The sun could be stronger, or take secondary bounces a little lower.

                        the blowing head is from david cronenberg's movie "scanner". Excellent taste in my opinion, but maybe not for an avatar (unless you really want to be considered as a weak psychic gettin is head exploded by a stronger one..)
