    Hi guys

Here are few images done for practice and leaning towards optimization of render time. House model done in Revit by a colleague. Details added in 3ds max.
Images done with Vray 3.0. BF+ LC, around 5 hrs per render on a single i7 4930k.

Lovely images. I particularly like the first one - very atmospheric.

first one is great - camera is really high in the second one though, i'd move it lower and crop higher to get the same spacing you have now. nice work!

Nice job Koliba. Did you do the cloth sim in Max?

            Hi,

            Thank you, Armilla!

Neilg - have to agree, the second camera image composition could be better. We had the space modelled, and didn't want to change it.
Remember that there was not sufficient space, and camera settings are quite extreme, which brought really strong perspective issues.

Bruce Hart - Thank You! No, as far as I remember, the model was bought. The cloth came with it. We just tweaked the materials.
Modelled purchased models ratio is 50/50.

To be honest , the project started as real one, but later on, there were many communication problems with client. She was looking for quite a lot, cheap images, done within 2 weeks time.
Do not want to mention, there was a chance to not getting paid. After all, project was not completed, so we decided to interpret the space and do the images for practice.
Alkin Bilgic's in depth tutorial about Vray optimisation had huge impact on how we approached these images.

Quite happy with the result and time for rendering these two.

What i'd do in this case is move the camera lower, render a taller image (top and bottom) and crop the bottom off so you have the exact same framing you do now, which is good. Same thing as using a tilt shift lens.
