I am having problems getting rid of these white speckles. Never had them until I switched to vray 3 and max 2015. I've tried various render settings using light cache, brute force, irradiance map, different types of color mapping, etc. Max Ray intens is checked all to no avail. Any thoughts?

try lowering the max ray intensity to 10. If that's opacity mapped leaves, try a different opacity mode. (with VRay 3 sp1 you can change the way opacity maps are calculated)
    Kind Regards,

Are they reflections of the sun? Or specular hilights from the sun? If you look at the GI/specular/reflection render elements, where do speckles go?

      Best regards,
      Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

Lowering max ray intensity to 10 made no difference. Leaves are not opacity mapped.

They show up in reflection but not specular. I checked the material and noticed (what I did not catch before) was that reflect was a medium gray. I turned the color to black and ...VOILA!...the speckles disappeared. Thank you very much Vlado. As always, you are the man!
