right now it looks to flat...you could have reflection on the window and move the sun so that its coming from the right instead of head on... your geometry is flat so try getting some shadow on it...some trees to cast shadows..and not to forget lessen te intensity.
Can see large improvement in the second image, your lighting looks more controled.
I find that if you work with a proper background it helps define the exposure of your light settings, instead of the dirty blue background you are using.
How do you do your tiles, do you model each of them?
If so it must have taken you a long time to model.

nice rendering. just ooooone tiny tiny thing thats probably not even important. the shadows of the background image trees are a little brighter than the ones of your 3d trees. just increase the contrast slightly in the background image to darken their shadows a tiny bit
