Hi all,
i'm here again presenting this time my last personal work, a futuristic firefighter.
I got inspired by the concept (and execution) by Rashaad Santiago in the makeup reality show "Face-off", it's amazing what those guys can actually do in such a short time.
Anyway i was looking for new technical challenges to improve myself so i tried hard surface modeling, mari/udim/vraytagging combo, and to be honest this has been the most complex and daunting project i ever did.
I still don't know why i did this.
These attached are just some lookdev images that don't really show the whole thing: i had 57 UDIM in place, a 2gb project in mari, hundreds of manually placed rivets and so on. What i'm saying it's that it's not the usual zbrush-keyshot single artwork with screenspaced texture, and vray really eat all this stuff with no problem at all.
Hope you like it.
