How did you make the tire smoke ?

Smoke is Photoshop only painted with some simple brushes, since I'm no expert in volume rendering in 3D...yet. That's one of the next things i have to tackle.
Too bad you can't really see all those little details i was able to render with VRay. The image had a resolution of 17K in the end
