    Just really a bit of testing, been absent from posting here a long time due to work and constrictive nda's

    Anywho, here is some of the sampling renders of a room that I am working on. When I get the room fully rendered out, I'll post some of the renders up.

    Does the sampling so far look good, or should I increase the subdivisions?



    And here it is w/ the irradiance map.



    Question though, why does it take so bloody long for the irradiance map to calculate, that irradiance map and photon map combined equate to a 45 minute calc time!
    5 years and counting.

      hmm, they work on my end.

      lemme try disabling some things

      do you get this often from the image server cocolas?

          I think you might wanna increase the subdivs or whatever that is, in the photns one.....right now it looka a bit splochy......

            I think it needs more sampling, at least in the first diffuse - so that the chairs will seem like they're touching the ground. Right now the little shadowdetail that's missing at the feet, make them float.
