  • Breezy Point Cabin

Here, is a cabin that I am working on. I am trying to use all the post goodies V-Ray has to offer. The bloom/glow is too much and I burnt it into the image, so next time I'll just do an element.

Updates... A little better. What's different with the VFB effect and doing it under environment -> Effects?

Last I heard is that apparently we're suppose to use the VFB one and NOT the environment one
      Kind Regards,

Also, I know its still early in the project, but your ceiling displacement is "teething" a bit in some places

I know. It's fine when I use 2d, but 3d seems to have issues.

Other than the ceiling that was pointed out I think they look great, the kitchen area could use a little more light IMHO, just seems a little dark around the stove area. When I grow up I hope to be able to produce great looking renders like yours
                Cheers,

Thanks! I'll add some light under the shelf to brighten up the kitchen

Why use displacement for something so simple as wooden boards. Isn't it a lot faster to use floor generator or similar?
                      A.

I would have to rotate each wall to lay flat, which isn't a problem, but it would seem to be a lot more work than a displacement.

Or you could just use railclone.

I agree, I would do it in 3D instead.
                              show me the money!!
