My tribute in form of a mash-up to those 2 amazing studios: Studio Ghibli and Klei Entertainment! Thank you for making such amazing stuff!

Done with 3ds Max, V-Ray, Zbrush, Ornatrix and Photoshop.

The Pigman skin was made using VrayScatterVolume Mtl - a little tricky and confuse since it needs to use a blend material in order to get the diffuse to work (actually I still don't know what I made - at some point I was just testing random parameters), but the result is way better than the default SSS! =)

    Thanks!

          Great work as always Victor!

The only crit I'd make on this image is that it would be nice if the Pigman was illuminated a little more just to make him 'pop' against the overall tone.

The SSS on the skin looks lovely, I tried the ScatterVolume material a while ago but trying to get it to look good made my nose bleed!

Awesome Image Love the small details like for example some raindrops being caught on the pigs fur layer.
              Cheers,
              Oliver
