Had some time to kill and have been wanting to make some CGI ice cream for a while, so came up with this



Ice cream modelled in Zbrush, cone modelled in max with some simple displacement.

Agree with Syclone1. AJ if you ever find the time to do a timelapse or soemthing along those lines please do one

The image itself is adorable as always love your style. Even though I find the thought of sentient ice cream mildly disturbing. The green one probably shares my thoughts. ;P

As for a timelapse, I'd like to do it but I think most people would just be horrified at how hit and miss my approach to everything is! Next time I work on a project like thi I'll try to remember to store the ZBrush undos so I can make a timelapse of the modelling process, and I'll try to save every WIP render so you can see how things progress & how many mistakes I make along the way!

I think we can all relate to the ugly child phases our cg stuff goes through.... and sometimes even stays in for weeks\years lingering in the back of our harddrives waiting for the right moment to ..... Now I scared myself

Interesting that the ice cream detail is actually hand made. Nice one. Probably took a while to get right.
