  • The Dart Jet Trainer Concept

    Hi All,

I recently had the pleasure of working with the Royal Aeronautical Society and Tristan Crawford (Chief designer) to bring to life this Jet trainer. the original concept was modeled in Catia then brought into Max where more details were added. Rendered in Vray and finished in Photoshop.
    As always CC most welcome.

I think they look fantastic! I wouldn't change a thing on the Red Arrows image at all.

I'd say the highlights are a little burned out on the white planes - they would be in a photograph too but I think a touch of bloom would make it look more natural. Also the trails coming from the tips of the wings look ever so slightly odd but I can't put my finger on it. It might be because they're slightly on top of the wings but for all I know this is correct!

      Great work though.

thank you all for your comments. thanks for the tip about adding bloom to the reflections to take the edge off, i will have to try that.

Nice work. The BAE Hawks are impressive. We use them over here for trainers also.

Are these a variation of the Hawk or a complete new design?
              Kind Regards,
              Morne

                Cheers,

These are essentially a new generation of 3 new jet trainers that utilise. the same fuselage & engine but different wings for various purposes. They're currently looking into further development and manufacturing.
