I have a ways to go, but here are some early views. I don't plan on these aerials being the finals, but I just wanted to show the scope of the project. There's a whole commercial part, but I am waiting on the owner for some colors.

I am thinking cars will break up the pavement.

      its looking good
couple of things i would have done differently
1-use a direct light like a sun for more contrast
2- i would have made the tarmac darker with a glossiness map .

      best regards

Yes, the pavement did come out light; I'll fix that. I like more contrast in images, however from my experience clients don't. I'll play a lot with light and shadow as I progress.

awesome stuff. you post more images than everyone else combined! lol. very inspirational. keep it up.

          -don't like the yellow trees
-nothing is blooming? no flowers or flowering shrubs?
-put some hvac stuff on the roof? it would be more real-world that way
          -thats alot of pavers!
          -are you using forestpro?
-the flat roofs don't look right. maybe a much lighter color to reflect solar gain? Like white membrane?

I am not sure I'l be showing this from this view, so I am not going to spend any time in the roof; we'll see. I am not using ForestPro. I have had big issues when using it for more than a couple ForestPro helpers. These are proxies, so I can swap things out easily. When I start to pull street level views, I'll tweak the vegetation.

I don't like the yellow trees, either. They are supposed to be "small flowering trees", so I'll look for something better. I saw that XFrog had a library. I do have XFrog, but I haven't used it in years. I tried to install it, but nothing worked (clicked setup and nothing happens), so I downloaded the trial and that didn't install. either. I have been buying XFrog trees, which comes with the MAX version.

In addition to the roof ventilation units mentionned earlier, I'd also add flat roof draining bassins to break up the surfaces.

I guess in actuality it would be a parapet wall, however I didn't have working drawings, so we haven't talked about the roof.

Thank you, very much! A lot of work to do; I am kinda working with a large brush down to a fine brush. I worked the whole scene, as a whole, and now I am working on views; fine tuning things I didn't see in the big picture view.

I took the plunge and bought some Vizpark trees. Havent used them yet but they seem very nice.

Dialing in a little closer with each view. Now, when I do finals, they'll be tight.
