  • Long Gone Eights

    Hello V - rays,

A little tribute to late 90s Audi a8. It started with a simple lighting test doodle but at some point I decided to work on it and see how far I can take it. As I needed to fill it with some cars I bought the audi a8 model from humster3d. Model was in quite a good shape but adjustments/tweaks were necessary. Original plan was no plan at all, then I wanted to fill the scene with more cares but I kind of started to like the audis only in it. Don't take it too seriously, I was probably just lazy. Enjoy.

      Jesus, your ground-floor, looks awesome!
I guess you fine tune your base mesh in zbrush or mudbux, but your maps for water etc are amazing.
Do you shoot all your textures personally or do you get them from online resources?

      Love it!
      Cheers

Wondering why the heavy red fill in blacks? looks great imho, but would look even better with proper balance?

I actually really like this grading. I think if it was 'correctly' balanced it would be less interesting.

              Great job!

Sure why not, I don't mind people having different taste for colors... It was momentary decision rather then some deeply thought process.
