VR Stereo 360s

Hey,

This is a little bit different than usual renders. We've rendered out few 360s with V-Ray for VR viewing and wanted to share it here as well. Hope some of you own Oculus DK2 / HTC Vive / GearVR .

At the moment I think that Virtual Desktop is the best way to view them, but looking down isn't very pleasing with this kind of renders.

Ok, I've replaced preview images with panoramas (Pannellum + Panopress).

I don't know if there are any good ways of outputting it directly to headset from browser. Maybe it's possible with WebVR.

Chromium beta does it perfectly with WebVR through KRPano

That looks interesting. But it looks like it doesn't support Oculus ?

Yes it does, you need to get chrome beta.

Coupled with the latest oculus runtime 0.8 it all works out of the box.
