Hey there - thank you Gijs, really cool Image!

I like the green tone in the back together with the red Glass - looks like an anomaly in the matrix. Maybe a bit of Lipstick at the Top Edge of the Glass would be the Kicker.

I see this Studio setup might be really usefull!
    Keep the pictures coming ppl!

your glass materials are flawless - awesome job. Makes me realize that I need to stop blaming the program for not working and actually start blaming myself. gasp!

thanks Geddart for the setup file,
your renders are absolutely beautiful, can I ask if you had a seperate mesh for the liquid or did you do it apply the liquid material to a selected faces of the bottles.
            here is my attempt

            cheers,

              Hi Tom 182

i´ll answer for Geddart here, i know this project a from our company. (while in this case, nothing here was from me ).

Well modelling was done in Rhino. Usualy we moddel liquids for them selve, but delete the Glas inside face where it meets the liquid. this way you get the right refraction like it should be with liquids.

Thanks to both of you toms
I just want to add that there's no more nee to delete the inner faces of glass objects intersecting with liquids anymore.
In 1.45.+ builds we have the "surface priority" option in the object properties for that reason. Small but very usefull feature vlado!

Nice renders tom182 and Dynedain - nice to see you guys use it!

Nope Tom, i haven't tested it yet. There are just too many Features to test and as you know i was off for some days.
I will do it next week when i have time. I think a very simple boolean scene should reveal what it can do.
                      see ya tom

Geddart you are the best at objects rendering. Did you use HDRI Shop?
