  • Where can I set the compression level of JPGs?

    Hi,

I’ve rendered an animation in the last weeks, and now I see that the frames (saved as jpg) are compressed too much. But I can not find the place where I can set the compression level of the JPG’s. V-Ray is not using the settings of Modo.

Where can I set the image format and compression level of the image format in V-Ray for Modo?

There is no way to specify this at the moment, I thought I set it to 100, so the highest quality and lowest compression.
But it seems there is a bug somewhere, so it actually defaults to 85.

I will see if I can fix this and also make it use the MODO settings from Preferences -> File I/O -> Image I/O.

No, actually it’s not the best quality. So I’m using TIFF now.
