Here is a college dorm. I think I am going to add a V-Ray sun to get darker shadows, but other than that, it's okay. This is a project that I have been emailing the owner for months, but without any replies, and all of a sudden he wants the image now!

Looks great Bobby! I'd remove the mid-distance tree on the left that's obscuring the corner of the building. I'd also suggest removing a few of the cars along the front of the building (starting with the most expensive cars...) so you can see more of the landscaping. And blondie up front is drawing too much of my attention away from the rest of the image... Guess that's a personal problem though. Love the grass! Lighting looks good to me - not sure I'd agree with darkening the shadows.

With the cars, I tried to place them organically; how people park closer to entrances. This is a college dorm, so I suppose I have to be careful of the kind of cars I use. I'll clean things up and remove the blonde

I think the backpack hanging off the chair needs to go. It looks like it's sitting on the floor, but then it's not shadowing anything so I guess it's hanging from the chair, but it's not sagging like a bag would if it were in that situation? Already I've spent too much time looking at it and not the actual room. Bin it or put it on the floor in a corner or something.

What'd you do with it in the end in terms of your lights and camera? What did the render times end up like?

It is using V-Ray planes in the windows and the cameras exposure turned off. I rendered 6K in 6 hours.
