Sweet, nice work! the feathers are displaced?looks like the red feathers on the neck are overlapping in the wrong direction. Does it talk? :P

wow nice feather j bug ,nice parrot , the featers of the wings looks very strange because he is flying dont u think adding them more variation because of the air would give it more sentation of the speed/air.

Paul: Yeah, the feathers take a little bit of time to paint but they're all created from scratch. Glad they look acceptable and since no one mentioned it I guess the shader works with them Thanks

Eric:No displacement just three VRayLights a bump and maps for reflections. I'm positive they're going in the correct direction but it could be the bump that's making them look off. Maybe you're just trying to ruffle my feathers buddy It's talking to me now but you don't want to know what it's saying

davehitt: Legs are next They should make a nice addition to vary the types of materials.

zuliban: I agree and this is the map I've spent the least ammount of time on. I'm working on it now and I'll post a new one soon.

I also wanted to ask if anyone could help me with translucency of thin objects. I can get SSS to work with thick objects but I'm having a hell-of-a-time with these feathers.

            Thanks,

Brilliant! The only thing which right jump into my eye was:

THERE IS MUCH ROOM FOR ANOTHER 128 PIECES OF (c)2004 Jonathan Reynolds

Try a 12x12 tile for it and it is perfect.

                      Greetings
