No you just select the objects you want a mask for and hit render. It's super fast and it's one of my most used scripts.

I don't see the complexity. I never use the presets though, they're not that good, materials are always way off. I just create my own.

About PSD manager, an EXR with all the render elements does exactly the same? I use it with Dave Wortley's Powermasker for all my different materials: https://davewortley.wordpress.com/20.../power-masker/

I purchased a fountain pack awhile back. It was pre-built.

Have you ever opened a FP grass material? It is insane. I might be able to just drop one good material, I'll have to see.

Yes I did and I did change a few of those with color correct and better reflection settings, but is indeed quite time consuming. The thing is if you start doing it in photoshop (imho), you won't always have that good of result, because sometimes there's color bleeding because of the weird colors or the weird colors are visible in reflections,etc...

The first materials with textures and stuff are the materials that are inside the multi/subobject material of the proxies they use. The other (multi colors) you can just ignore those. Each color represents a different proxy in the FP object.

Instead modifying the material assigned to FP (this is generated on the fly), check each of the materials assigned to Geometry->Material and adjust those.
And most of times only it's necessary to modify one of them, because they are instanced when used on different geometries.

                        I hope that helps.

The back of the house. It's been a bear, but I think it is coming alone. The bushes are millions, upon millions, of leaves scattered on boxes.

Also, render time was around an hour at 4K.

Looks good. I would say the tiling (or whatever the ground material is) feels a bit too reflective. Also the pool could be a bit more realistic looking (just hunt on google for aerials with pools and photoshop it in).
But I think the thing that would really bring it up another level is to do something about the surroundings. If you can find a nice aerial photo with lots of grass and photoshop it in with the RawTotalLighting trick, it will ground it in reality way more (pun intended).

Yes, the pool, tile and surroundings need work. I purchased some high resolution grass last night, but nothing really worked, so I have to keep looking, Do you have any good resources?
