  • Marooned

This is my last prsonal project called "Marooned"
The main scenario of this work had been formed in my mind when I saw Julien Coquentin's photo collection of Black Season, and after that I started to design the details. I created a marooned place far from modern life in which living will be pleasantly simple and soothing in a way we don't experience in our daily life.I wanted the work to be realistic and based on the photos, and then adding my own ideas and visions in it's details.
    Software and plugins I used:
    3dsmax,Z-brush,SpeedTree,Marvelous Designer,V-ray, Photoshop
Thanks for watching and hope you like it Guys.

Wonderful details - shame the images are such low resolution. Have/will you be doing them in higher res?
Check out my (rarely updated) blog @ http://macviz.blogspot.co.uk/

looks like Wales, or some areas of northern England. old mining village or similar.. very atmospheric.

if i wanted to be *super* picky, the DOF is a bit strong in certain shots, makes it feel a bit miniature, the wire mesh of the fence is too large scale ( mesh should be finer) and the fresh/new wood in the carpenter image looks a bit smooth with too heavy a bump on the grain. the rest is almost flawless
