Yes, it turned out good. The response of the architect, "It'll do for now".

Indeed, one of the best work you've posted here.

Grass is wonderful. Beautifully cut lawn with nice variations.

That was one comment she had. She didn't like the grass; she wants it to look new.

                Funny!

I started this job over a year ago, for a real estate agent. I quotes her one view, we worked through the process and when we were done, she said, "now I am going to show the architect". Really, that's now how this works. So, the architect comes on the scene and starts changing things, picking a dozen views she wants, and then she disappears and I never hear from her again. Both the real estate person and the architect stopped returning my emails, so I sent the final invoice every month, with late fees, for a year. Finally, when I sent a demand letter, they paid up. Well, after all that, the architect contacted me a couple Monday's a go, with almost a new site plan, telling me she needs it by Thursday. I simple said no, I'll have to reschedule the project and currently I have a large backlog of work (read the contract). I ended up telling her that I'll see what I can do. I worked long hours, while working on my current schedule, and I got her image on her due date with all the changes. Guess what? She continued to make changes; the deadline was bogus. I made a few more revisions and she kept making changes, so I finally FIRE HER!

One of the thing you should never say to a client... I learned it the hard way

The bogus deadline is also a classical one ! I tell them it's like a race, we have a limited amount of (creative) energy and starting your sprint far too early is always a bad idea.

I like to under promise and over deliver, so letting them know that you can't do something and do it for them anyway, should make them appreciate you going above and beyond. For this client, nothing would matter.

Good man! there's no reason to keep working for bad clients.

INteresting story, glad you ended up getting paid for your work. This one is really good. I LOVE that first perspective, the one point perspective works really well.

The grass is really nice. I can't ever seem to get it looking like lawn.
