Here is a test of SALuto's very fast lighting system. There are some artifacts but I will remove them soon

I removed the picture because it was AWFUL. Lots of artifacts. I am sorry.

    very nice Alex.

there seem to be some AA issues on the upper curve of the mirror frame....

also..is there a light inside the bath tub ......don't know if that's a reflection or a light.....

I like the bath tiles.....did you use displacemnent for those?

can you show a wire?..and what's the rendertime?

    good work,

    paul.

snif ,snif....... I crying because my renders dont have the realism like yours ,
Some time you say: I use a some "system light"......what system you use in yours renders?

                Saluto is a person..

i *think* he's talking about the 3dcenter.ru forums..

there is a 'system' where you render out the irradiance map with a mid to light colored grey texture, save that out, re-apply your materials, and use the irradiance map as 'from file'. Its a good way to get some of the 'lightscape' look to a rendering.

Thats about all i understood =)

its about keeping their methods or what they call "system" secret...

i don't like the style too much...design & lightning wise...

whats that light in the bathtub?

                    First:

Very nicely modelled and technically good rendered.

I have one question: Where is the lamp in the mirror ? Shouldn't it be in the view of the spectator somewhere due to the existing perspective ?!?
