    Hi,

Here is a recently completed project. Quite challenging in terms of communication.
    Vray and Forest Pack.

    Let's know your comments?

Really nice, high end renders, let down by the poorly integrated 2d people.

At the very least, you could do some better burning and dodging on those people to make them fit, or replace with 3d people.

Also, strange roof material, never seen that before!

Have to agree about the people. All of them have been adjusted though, to match lights, despite time constraints.
Indeed material is not something one can see every day - it is supposed to be tarpaulin ( tent like canvas). Roof was supposed to be only one with such material , but client decided to wrap the whole house with it as last-minute call, so this is why it does not look that convincing.

The renders are superb - love the fabric materials!

Thanks! Actually the tent is has been unwrapped and painted in PS with real photos examples. Had to use a pre-made normal map from different object to get the wrinkles in the mean time. Not really the best look, but worked out.

That's why I hate integrating people. I suck at it. Big time. No matter how many videos/tutorials/theories I watch and read, I can't seem to make them match my renders. Even watched this: https://phlearn.com/product/perfect-composite which is very very accurate (I think) and I even fail at using this kind of technique.

Same here. Unfortunately sometimes we are forced to put people at particular positions and postures by clients, although frame composition can not accommodate such, or obviously those in libraries do not work. This was the case with these images.
We used to take photos of ourselves, mask them out and put in images, but this approach does not work when clients are calling every 5 min for images.
