Hello all, its been quiet some time since I last uploaded some of my work. This is a project im currently working on and was wanting some crits etc. on what parts are good and what parts need fixing or any suggestions in general to improve the image. I know the lights on the columns are messed up im playing witha material right now inorder to make it look like they are glowing and I have to adjust the lights to appear as if they are being cast from the fixtures themselves. An crits would be greatly appreciated ive learnt so much from all of you amazing renderers. Thanks in advance, Ryan.

wow. this is clean.
beautiful lighting execution...the sunlight areas aren't blown out and the shadows are perfect.
the light on the front facing column looks good on those tiles, really helps to define the material, but like you said it doesnt look like its coming from the fixture itself...maybe try Egz's light material, its basically a well setup up self-illuminated material.
my only other crit would be that the mesh material doesnt terminate well on the columns (ie the 2 meshes are just going thru each other) when in reality there would probably be a fitting around the column for a hole thru the mesh.
What AA settings did you use? the mesh detail come thru perfectly.
great image.

thanks for your input, i do know about the mesh terminating at the column i havnt yet modeled up the T-bars that will be hanging in front of the columns to finish that detail off
as for the mesh i used simple two level image sampler.. as for settings i forgot what i used i will post them later if you would like?

i loved the mesh and the concrete seen thru it
probably your light fixtures would better emit more decorative kind of light than to illuminte the scene because the sunlight is strong enough
if i were you i'd also try softer shadows cast by the sunlight
anyways it's already great as it is now .)
