Radiohead are running a competition where people can submit a vignette to accompany a section of their music. I had an idea I really wanted to do with a little story but have been too busy to find the time. I managed to grab 5 hours yesterday to come up with something and made this. It's not exactly ground breaking or exciting but I thought I'd share it none the less.

The sky and trees in the bg are from a photo I took in a field near my house, the corn/wheat is modelled and scattered with Forest Pack. I managed to get the render times down to >2 minutes a frame so I could render the whole thing overnight on our 4 machines here. It's certainly much noisier than I would have liked but the deadline was today so I didn't have much choice.
