Any LUTs on top of the render Bobby? Not too keen on the architecture but the render itself is comming out really nice!

No, no LUT's, but some quick PS color grading. I haven't gotten too much into LUTs. To me, it seems too much like Instagram filters. I'll have to try it when we get some good ones inside the VFB, but for now, I don't use it.

The ridiculous part is, these are 1/4 million dollar condominiums.

Do you use Arion FX to add the bloom/glow/flares?
I really wish we would have that build in Vray as once you want to pipe out a animation, you're f**** using Arion FX

I use ArionFX, but not for the glow. I use Google's plug-in, the glamour glow, but only slightly. This one, I think I set the opacity to 20%

              Good to know

Still trying to find a viable solution for animations (till I hope Vray implement a proper bloom/glare effect )

I am having a heck of a time utilizing this space. The Architect gave me sketches, so there isn't a labeled floorplan. It is an awkward space, to say the least.

How are you getting the glow only at the lights? Glamour Glow doesn't seem to function that way.

I do the classic soft glow and just paint it around the lights with a soft brush.

One more reason why we really should have a proper lens effect build in Vray...

Proper lens effects are not around lights only; they affect the entire image... What you want is artistic lens effects

I have never gotten anything good out of ArionFX, as far as glare/bloom goes. I am working on one now and I am using V-Ray glare/bloom, which has always worked well for me. I think maybe, it has too many controls. It almost seems like it should work with just an on/off toggle. I am not sure a digital camera has any controls for glare/bloom, it is just a natural lens flaw.

If it has 1 bedroom then it would likely be between $600,000 to 1.2 mill in SF. Depending on the additional amenities in the building. Sigh.
