I have obviously just started to use Vray and wanted to illuminate a mass model that I am currently working on.
I have one direct target light 0.35 intensity with Vray shadow
Here are my settings:
Image Sampler - fixed rate 1
GI - on Refractive Caustics - on
first bounce - 1.2
second bounce - 1.0 ( son't go any higher than 1.0???)
Irradiance map -3,-2 HSph - 20 Interp. sample - 20
Mode - single frame
Environment - Override on light blue 0.75
Vray 1.09.03r with VIZ 2005
Any advise is greatly appreciated. Also I want to get a decent glass material but having difficulty even getting any transparency - the glass is hidden in the image posted. Thanks again.
Regards Peter.
