    Hey fellow vray fans,

Well here's one I've been working on for the last couple days, finally getting to do something kind of fun with a spanish feel to it. Anyhow I've got a another day or so to work with it and thought I'd see what you all though. Anything I could/should improve on? There are diffinately several things I still have to fix and finish (improve grass texture, pavers texture, window reflections, veggy's in front of the house, etc.) I should also mention the house is a little blurry due to it is still at half res. Everyone is alway so helpful and the C&C's are always a great.

    Thanks AB

Hi Ultra thanks for the reply. I've got kind of a busy day today but I will try to post some info on my techniques sometime later today if I can. Just didn't want you to think I was blowing you off. AB

        it looks great!

i think the sky should be more blue instead of that violet tint it has now

is the specular on the rooftiles done with the main light or did you add another light for that effect?

nice "mowed" grass but I think it should be shorter.

The mow strips are a little too strong I would make them more subtle.
The reflections in the window look like they are reflecting the edge of the earth. I would put a plane with a background image on it so the windows have something to reflect. and the paneling on the garage doors seem a little noisey, you may want to increase the sampling for more realistic shadows.

I think the lawn is a little funky and the house itself could use a bit more noise. Other than that, very good.

Sorry, I mispoke. I mean there should be more texture to the building itself. I think a bit of noise would do it.

                    Very nice W.I.P

Like always, your work is lovely. I´ll think the same with the final version.
Your images haven´t the look that you give to my images ( softer and lighter shadows).
                    See you.

could you explain a little about your techniques ?
The roof was modeled in ACAD and arrayed (90MB ACAD file!!). The grass is a technique I have been working on for a while to get right, but if I told you I'd have to kill ya.... na just kidding. It's a combo of displacement map and max scatter for a few loose strands. Hope that helps.

I took a little voilet out, thanks. And yeah that spec is just from to main direct light.

The garage doors were WIP and are updated now. I totally agreed with the need to add more texture to the stucco although part of that was because of the low res from before. Window reflections and the grass texture were diffinately on my list as well. thanks for pointing it out though, how do they look now?

gitano_anton, yeah that first image didn't really have any post processing yet in PS since it was still a WIP. I think it looks more like what you were say now, right? BTW I didn't do any major photoshop work on my last house only because the texture and color was very important to the client and he didn't want me to anything that would blow out the colors, which is why I use a more stylistic method.

Anyhow almost done, there are still a couple of things that bug me, namely some of the plants were a little rushed to make it to my meeting. Any other comments?

looks great but its a little lacking in the contrast department.

                          More contrast, more sharpness.
