I've been surprised to discover how much information an HDRI file loaded in dome light can bring into the scene. The picture bellow has just 1 dome and no other light sources...(not even portal lights). The render has been saved as .exr and converted in 16 bit in PS (correcting the gamma and other settings there). I post processed the 16 bit image in camera raw (for white balance correction, detail, shadows, highlights, etc.). There are only overall global adjustments applied.
