I got the main buildings done a week ago, but didn't get the site plan until Friday afternoon. With the site plan, I got a date for their town hall meeting, which I thought was February 25th. Sunday night, I was looking over my schedule and notes and noticed their meeting is actually January the 25th. Needless to say, I haven't slept in the last few nights. From now on, I am going to ask if they have a landscape architect for the project. If they say yes, I am tacking on 20%! The landscaping is insane and will probably be cut to save a few hundred thousand. In these, it is just showing 1/4 of the buildings.

Also know, each still took around 20 minutes at 4K. Thousands of bushes, a hundred trees, the road has displacement and very large HDRI. That's awesome!

Thanks and thanks for the texture map help. I told the architect that I wanted to thin out some larger trees, but she said that they'll probably use small ornamental trees, so I went with what she wanted. It ended up that she wants the trees I recommended, so I'm working on that. Also, those strange concrete boxes, which were on the drawings and strange, are being changed. A few more other things, which I am rendering out now.

Some updates with more mature trees thinned out 60%.

The planting is what lets these down IMO Bobby. It's probably the hardest thing to get right (alongside people). The dreaded request from a client is "Can you make the trees 'thinner' so we can see the building?"!

Do they really want to see bins in their marketing images?

At least they didn't ask to make them transparent.

Thank you, sir. It probably will not make it to my portfolio page, but it served its purpose for the architect, which was for a city planning meeting, which is actually happening right now.

Why do you say that? Bushes to big? I went by the landscape plan. Hobbits work!

Probably because there are not any people, or anything else to help scale things.
