    Hi G-Vision

Welcome first. As you´ll see this is a realy nice forum

Overal lightning of your scene seems good. first thing i would mention are the big stones in your walls. they seem to be mapped and a bit flat.

maybe you try out the displacement of vray which produces stunning results. ?

    water seems to be fine.

      Hi mate.

Good first image. I think the problems with it stem from your maps. The water looks good as Tom said, i just think your ground image, the rocks map and your background and tree maps are of low quality. Try using Vray displacement on your rocks and it will dramatically improve the quality. Other than that, the lighting is good, but it looks like its about 5-6 pm due to the colour of the lighting, yet your shadows indicate a much earlier 12-1pm time, in which case the light should be a lot stronger. Do you know what i mean? Try this site for high quality maps http://www.mayang.com/textures/ , go to the concrete link for nice ground concrete maps.
Post another image if you do any changes.
      and welcome to the forum.

Oh, and also, i think that the house in front looks a bit weird being completely flat on like that, maybe have it at a bit of an angle to the camera?

Thank you,Tom and Marc, for the comments.
I will work on the maps, light set-up and the displacement
I know that the background sucks, but this is a photo made by the client...
Maybe I can fix it by PS
When the render is finished, I will post it again.

That looks really good mate. I think it looks much better, the rocks and the background haouses. The swimming pool looks very very realistic. I only have two comments. 1: I still think the light isn’t bright enough, i would increase it. 2: a small thing, but the gobo of the shadow of the trees in the foreground look great, but if you notice, in real life, you get some parts are sharp like you have, but others are blurred (basically braches higher up). So maybe duplicate the light, rotate and reposition it slightly then blur the image used as the projection map.
One last tip which i think works really well for bright outdoor shots. In Photoshop, open your image, then duplicate the layer. Then adjust the levels of the new layer (above your original image) so that the bright parts of the image are REALLY bright and the darker areas, become even darker. Then Gaussian blur the image (about 20, depending on the size of your render) and lower its opacity to about 20 (you may want to p[lay with this) and turn its mode on to SCREEN. What this will do is simulate the glow that you get around bright highlights in real life.
              Good work mate.

                    Really like this image!!!!!

Perhaps just a bit more reflection on the chrome on the pool stairs.
