Looks quite real Is it HDR lighting or actual lights?

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

Thank you, Vlado. Currently I am using HDR lighting, but i will start soon to play with actual lights for studio-like images.

It is very photo-realistic. Love it, only think I don't like is that the writing is upside down. Maybe if yo rendered it the other wat, rotated around Z about 120 deg.

Thanks Wig42! And yes, rotating the label 180 degrees would help to look better.

I assume you are modeling a real world object, so the label is the way it is in real life? Looks very convincing, I like how you added the scratch coat layer. Great modeling! What modifiers are you using, or is it all mesh?

Hi Andy. Thanks for your words. Yes, I am modeling real world objects that I find in my daily life. This is my way to learn modeling with Blender and to go deeper with V-Ray materials.

The label is neither the original one from the real charger, neither located in the same exact location in the charger. I took one image from the internet and added it as a texture. I was more interested on the modeling itself and the final material with the coating layers.

The object is all mesh. I started with an 8-side cylinder, creating the details using polygonal modeling (extrusions, scaling, deletion/creation of faces, etc.) and applying a final Subdivision Surface modifier.
