Vray for Blender and Photoshop(I am learning blender compositing now ,really slick)

    Size:1920X1080

Render time: 30min(I set max subdivid to 12 and noise threshold to 0.01)
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have no experience in other platforms before.. It might be super easy for max user, but I almost spent a whole week(night hours) setting up the scene

The foliage and furniture stuff come from blenderguru which are all cycle ready,I have to convert these material manually to all vray material nodes(just wonder is there an easier way to do ).

Any Critique is very much welcomed..

    Thank you very much

    Hi Shiyan Lin,

the scene looks great. Only one "but": the white/bright panels behind the couch. Are they windows or panels? They look extremely bright, light burnt.

Hi Shiyan lin, Great start! I agree the windows need something outside of them. It would also help with getting some more varied reflection in the interior surfaces like the plant and the floor.

Your ceiling texture is nice, but it's obviously tiled, maybe try offsetting the texture in each structural bay.

Did you use displacement for the floor? It looks like there aren't enough subdivisions so the gaps look very jagged. I would suggest using a bump map instead, makes things much easier.

I know what you mean about getting assets converted to be ready for Vray. The converter could definitely use some attention.

Thanks for pointing out what's need improving! I really need this.
I agree that there should be something outside to make whole scene looks more realistic.
May I ask you a question? Is there any possibility right now using Substance Painter material? I know there are material converter plugin for max,not quite sure about Blender.

I agree that whole panel burn out which looks unpleasant. Thanks for pointing that out!

The lighting it's a sun? What settings about color mapping Im+lc i guess. The panel i think it right if you wanna do photorealistic render in the real photo you deal with the same problem.

                      Hi

                      30mins is a bit longer(max subdivide 12 noise threshold 0.05),I've a Ryzen 1700x(8 core) computer

                      I use denoiser

The foliage is not ideal result,I use 2sided material, but seems not set up rightly

                      (sorry for my bad English)

I 'm not an expert of denoiser but i think if you use settings to hard loose a lot of detail, for exemple the noise texture it's completely flatten with default settings,i think 30 minute it's a low time, if you think that Bertrandt Benoit take a lot more with a hp z820

That's a good point. With denoiser, fine detail can get smeared, especially if you don't enable all channels for the material. For example, that may be why your floor looks kind of grainy, and it looks like the glass table has blurred reflections. I thought maybe your floor material isn't set up right, but strong denoising may explain it.

I'm not an expert at DMC sampling, I read these threads lots of times, trying to figure out the right way to utilize the speed and maintain quality, never make it.

BBBB3 is another story I think, my scene is fairy simple(Compared to BBB3 which lights comes through lots of trees into interior means lighting is extremely complex)

Sorry again for my bad English
