    just found it in the client.ini file in Program FilesCommon FilesChaosGroup


    it seems to be 30303 on my setup. I dont know if that is standard or if a range needs to be opened up

      This is already implimented with the new version of the server Licence.. so there is no excuse !
      I wasn't making an excuse, I was just asking if they allowed for a shared license. A portable license utility would be the best way, but what Dynedain also mentioned would work too, but that means you have to open up ports, and have an internet connection.

      An example where the license server isn't a good solution is on a laptop. I have a laptop that I would love to be able to have vray on, so I can take it with me to a clients office, and work there. But I cannot because vray is stuck to my license server. I could install the license server on the laptop, but then that would require me to have the laptop on all the time just to use my other computer.

      I think a portable license utility should be one of the first things added next time they add a feature to vray.

        I think 30303 is stnadard. I got the same down here.
