  • Collections Priv?es _Stills and Animation

    Hi all,
Here is an animation we did last week for a perfume and cosmetics shop .
rendering using Vray of course and post in Aftereffect.
rendered using 3 dual xeon machines in 6 days while we are working on other project so I had to optimize a lot ! =D
frame time from 5-10 min based on the content of the shot and as we had an issue with loading Irradiance map for one shot and we tried BF+LC so the time go up till 20 min per frame
    Hope you like it

and here is some stills :

10min frames at 1080p? Thats great. What was your load time? I want to know how to optimize to reduce load time/ram usage. I recently did a 10min/frame animation with a rendering farm service but the load times were crazy high because of the amount of ram needed. It was a lot of people and textures though. Is there a process to optimize that you'd like to share? Thanks!

          Thanks!
The only thing that bother me is those 2D shots
But with the small budget and time we had to replace the original 3D movement.

Yes with 3 dual xeon (vray benchmark for them was 37 sec,1:17, 1:54 iirc)
I have used high noise threshod with denoisier to get accepetaple result and by rendering every 2 frame and blend tgem with twixtor I get kind of smother result.
Scene isn't that big but we did't put in mond that we will render it as animation when we build it first time so it took like 45 GB ram but the loading took only seconds.
            Hope that helps

I really like the mood, the ambiance good job
The thing that could be improved is the ventilation docks material, not that disturbing in the animation but quite in your face in the stills.

                Great work!

                  Really appreciate it
Regarding the ducts , I agree we could tune down the bump and reflection a bit .
