  • Mtn House interiors - Part 2

The clients wanted to show the very large garage space that is a result of excavating a big foundation into a steep hillside. The two primary goals are to show how large the space is and to show how all the recreational equipment in place suggests many of the possibilities that the mountain resort lifestyle allows.

    Critique welcome.

Nice! I would make the glow more subtle and increase the overall image contrast.

Thank you cadman. I agree with both comments. I put that up in a bit of hurry and I have an updated one that has increased overall contrast. Waiting for client feedback and will post update after that.

The bloom effect around the lights is vray bloom. The lights are vray plane lights and without the bloom effect the edges are super jagged. I got lucky and found info about this in the vray docs, suggested way to get rid of jagged edges on visible vray plane/disc lights is vray bloom effect. That's about the least amount I could use to get rid of the jagged edges.

Here is an update. Added a bunch more sports equipment and other objects. Reduced bloom on lights.

(Forum has entire new look and image upload is different?)

There's something strange going on with the tiling of the floortexture on the left side, or is it tiretracks from the yellow jeep? Because now it doesn't show it like that.

Thanks Ashley. I see what you mean. It's not supposed to be tire tracks from the keep. I think there is a texture tiling issue. That is a texture map I made from a photo from a manufacturer' web site. It's an epoxy floor coating that the client has speced. Funny it shows up there and not elsewhere on the floor. I may just paint that out in pshop,
