pretty good start! I think the first thing that comes to mind is that your missing alot of contrast in your lighting. Maybe a screenshot of you scene showing your lighting rig would be helpful. That and a screenshot of your render settings.

Your irradiance map isn't high enough. for a final image, I usually go for no lower then -3, -1 for an interior. Your not getting good lighting in the corners because your irradiance map lacks definition. Also, for AA, if you dont have alot of QMC effects (glossy reflections, DOF, or MOblur) then using the adaptive AA sampler is quicker.

        Your lighting rig looks okay.

I'd use exponential on color-mapping type.

I put higer values in the irradiance map(-1;1) and put color mapping to exponential, but didnt work there, still there isnt no contrast in the sahdows

Strange... Could you post the file here so we can have a closer look at it?

                      Regards,

okay your problem was your key light had raytraced shadows instead of vrayshadows. Also looking at your material editor, use vray materials as much as possible, it will render alot faster.

To add to what Percy said, the contrast issue was caused by the standard materials having an ambient color. Converting to Vray Material will automatically get you rid of this "problem". GI is precisely what will take care of the ambient.

                            Regards,

                            Nenad

                              Hi Lirgo!

I made some quick changes in your file, hope it will help you!

Remember, as percydaman and nenad said, always use vrays materials,
and always use vray shadows in your lights.

                              UPDATE: File removed
