      for a final image with alot of small detail I usually set the preset to high, and then back off the irradiance map to 0 for the max. Yeah I kinda think your other threshold settings might be helped out with some adjustments.

        ok percydaman, but you've forgot to say in what resolution , because for example, i consider -3 0 to a resolution of 800 x 600, so, if i want 3 times more resolution, i folow the proportion, 2400 x 1800 so is equal to -5 -2, i'm right ?

          no Im talking about your threshold settings I was referring to earlier. Im sure your irrad map settings are fine, but those other settings are contributing to some lack of GI detail. Just set the preset to high, and that will give you good threshold settings. Then put your irradiance map min and max to whatever you had it at.
