I think it would look better without the noise over the whole image. Not sure if thats from your vray settings or post fx.

You could add some drops like the ones that appear when Cheese lays around for too long.

Swiss cheese is indeed much lighter than Dutch cheese.
Here are the settings. Remember to uncheck double sided to prevent painful headaches. Thickness and light multiplier will of course depend on the amount of light.
