      looking very nice

I think your pews need work, and your stone texture is too regular and too small

        great

the lighting is very good...has a lot of deepth, especially up in the roof area...

can you tell as how you lit it?

        good work.

I really like the perspective and lighting - it gives an excellent sense of depth. The lights could use more brass or gold. Perhaps a few candles near the altar?

              nice job...two comments...
fix the benches...and the area around the Idol
benches are too similar....simple changes in contrast of maps might do the trick.
and the area around the idol seems too flat.
last...ur camera view seems a bit skewed to add that bit of a realistic touch....i know its difficult if the room dimensions dont allow u.but thats one of the give aways when ur FOV is too low.
i like the texturing a lot...
              nice work...

The lighting is very nice. My only critic at this point would be the wood species. Usually, you see a much darker wood in a church of this type. Also, were are the reflections?

It would be cool to have a rendering with atmospherics such as a haze and the light from the stained-glass windows filtering through it. I'm not sure how one would achieve this effect but it would be a good expirament.

For the haze effect he could use VOLUME LIGHT (on 3d MAX) and for the stained glass color light flitering, he could just map the light.....however, what i like about this church, is that it doesnt have fog light, almost every 3d church out there, have that foggy light effect that makes it look like ancient or creepy, i think this is better, much cleaner.

                        Great image!

With a good work on texturing could be a materpiece.
Imo you can try to use the camera modifier to control the verticals (if you use max6)
                          Bye
