This is actually the first image I've ever posted in this forum. Usually I do so much post work in photoshop, I never feel like posting the final images in the Vray forum. But this one is all vray, exept for some finishing touches, and of course, the cheesey plants.

Anyways, here it is. Nothing too special. I had somebody model the chair for me because I'm no good at that kind of modeling.

it's looking good, but the front door is not real.
and reflection of the chair is too high.

      Hey timmatron

Thats a pretty good render, the door tex is outta place and the red material n on the canopy needs streach marks...love those chairs would you care to share if you can.....THat brick wall bump it up a bit, the plants to me just loook a little over saturated.....but not out of place...

Tally Ho and all that Like the render....

A good start but the lighting is unrealistic ... your shadow's represent a strong sun ? but your light doesnt show a strong light.

Hey Natty, can you explain what you mean by that a little bit? I thought I did an ok job of lighting. But something I always seem to struggle with is getting strong (bright & contrasting) lighting while at the same time maintaining a somewhat accurate representation of the actual colors & materials.

Here is a reference picture of the existing site. I wish this would have been shot in direct light so I could have more accurately simulated those conditions, but the job site was out of state & I couldn't get a different picture.

I think you need to increase the direct light and add some colour to it .. decrease the highlight's on the chairs also and blur your shadows a tiny bit.

Thanks for the tips. How would I blur the shadows?

Sorry, I can't share this chair since I paid somebody to model it for me. He may want to sell it again. But if you go to this thread, you might be able to get in touch with IC who said he would share his chair models.
