looks pretty good doan. nice and spacy. theres some problems though. your carpet is floating off the floor. And your books look like they are self-illuminated. Lastly are the glass globes hollow or solid? Your IOR makes em look solid, but I would think they would be hollow. could be wrong on that one though. Lighting looks pretty spot on.

          A well lit scene.
But, I am not too happy with the composition. I think it suffers from trying to show too much (too wide a shot) in one image. I appreciate why you have done it though - the client only wants to pay for so many images...

Take a look in any interior design mag - most shots are pretty tightly cropped, giving glimpses of spaces and furniture. Ultra Wide shots like this show a lot of 'empty space'.
          Kind Regards,

yeah close up shot can be more artistically pleasing, but frequently that aint what a customer wants.

Hi guy, I really appreciate yours C&C. Thanks a lot.

Percydaman, you're right about the "subsonic carpet" . I didn't notice that it was floating. The glass globes are hollow. But here I just put a primitive sphere. Now I think I would make a boolean operation between 2 spheres.

Tricky: One of the negative points of this project is that feeling of empty space. Originaly it was a unique large space . We decided to divide it in two separate space : living and dining room. The reason of the two first images was to show the virtual relationship between the two complementary living spaces.
We are working on new versions, so I will send the update....

Smooth : The floor material is wood. Because of the large surface of the shape covered, I had some pb with the tiling and the camera view. I will correct that as soon as possible .
My PC is an old one: dual AMD - MP 2000 with 1Gb ECC ddr memory - Windows 2000 Pro.

Ishpalsingh : I don't understand your question ? Could you give me more indications ? thanks

for the glass globes you dont need to use a boolean. Just put on a shell modifier. Glass globe on left=no shell. Globe on right=shell modifier.
